Join fellow aging services leaders for the next LeadingAge Wisconsin Nutritional Services Peer Networking Group Meeting, an interactive half-day of learning, collaboration, and practical takeaways you can put to work immediately.

The meeting will be held with special guest speaker Christy Edwards, RD, CD, Nutrition & Dining Strategist at Martin Bros. Participants will explore today's most pressing nutrition services topics through engaging, hands-on activities designed to strengthen operations and improve resident care.

The agenda includes a Food Safety Escape Room, an interactive Cost Control Jeopardy game.  an overview of a new Spend Management Toolkit, networking over lunch, and a session focused on IDDSI resources and product testing.

By the end of the program, participants will be better prepared to:

  • Apply critical thinking and teamwork to solve food safety challenges.
  • Identify strategies to manage food costs, reduce waste, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Utilize resources and specialized products to consistently serve IDDSI diet textures.

The registration fee is $30 per person, and lunch is included.

Continuing education credits will be available for Nursing Home Administrators, Registered Dietitians, and Certified Dietary Managers. The program has been approved for 3.5 NAB/NCERS participant hours (Approval #20270519-3.50-A121544-IN) and has also been approved for CBDM continuing education (Approval #170133). Approval from the Commission on Dietetic Registration is pending.
