Finding and developing the next generation of leaders is a growing challenge for aging services providers. Join the LeadingAge Wisconsin Workforce Network on August 13 from 9:30-10:30am on Teams for an engaging discussion on one innovative approach to strengthening the leadership pipeline.

Our featured speaker, Michael Jones, senior campus executive director at LindenGrove New Berlin, helped champion the development of Madison College's Nursing Home Administrator Program, an eight-week program created in collaboration with healthcare employers to prepare nursing home mid-career professionals, such as business office or admissions staff, social workers and others to apply for a nursing home administrator license. The certificate equips participants with practical skills in leadership, communication, human resources, business operations, and healthcare management while allowing them to continue working.

During this interactive conversation, Michael will share how the idea for the program came to life, the partnerships that made it possible, and the lessons learned along the way. He'll also discuss how providers can identify emerging leaders, invest in employee growth, strengthen succession planning, and build sustainable leadership pipelines within their own organizations.

Whether your organization is looking to fill supervisor positions, improve retention, or create more opportunities for career advancement, this session will offer practical strategies and real-world insights from a leader who has helped turn an innovative workforce idea into reality.

Bring your questions and join the conversation as we explore new ways to grow the leaders our profession needs today—and for the future.
