LeadingAge Wisconsin is honored to recognize Scott Genke, Director of Technology and Education at Clement Manor in Greenfield, for his national achievement as an inductee in the 2026 McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards. Scott was selected as one of only five recipients nationwide to receive the distinguished Unsung Hero Award, a testament to his dedication, innovation, and quiet yet powerful leadership in the field of long‑term care.
The McKnight’s Pinnacle Awards celebrate seasoned professionals with more than 20 years of service who have set new standards of excellence, advanced innovation, and inspired colleagues across aging services. Scott’s inclusion in this year’s class reflects the extraordinary impact he has made during his 27 years at Clement Manor and within the broader long‑term care community.

Scott’s nearly three decades at Clement Manor exemplify respect, collaboration, quality service, and a drive to improve the lives of older adults. While his career began outside of technology and education, Scott continuously embraced new opportunities to learn and lead. A Message from Scott
In reflecting upon his award, Scott shared heartfelt gratitude for the colleagues and mentors who shaped his journey:
“I want to express my deepest gratitude to each and every staff member at Clement Manor. This recognition was truly unexpected, and I feel incredibly honored and blessed. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without the support, guidance, and encouragement from the Clement Manor team—past and present.”
He continued:
“Long-term care is filled with unsung heroes, and I am proud to stand alongside my fellow nominees and represent Clement Manor. Looking back, I never imagined that almost 30 years later I would still be in this field, let alone in the position I am today. But I’ve fallen in love with the work we do and, most importantly, the people we serve. It’s a privilege to be part of something so meaningful.”
