From Insight to Action: Using Data to Drive Strategic Planning

  • Date: June 10, 2026
  • Time: 2:00 – 3:00 PM

A robust evaluation process for developing an organization’s strategic plan should be inclusive and comprehensive. It must address internal strengths and vulnerabilities, external opportunities and risks, and long-term sustainability. Planning efforts should integrate operational, financial, and spatial needs for staff and residents, design, and facility goals, creating a framework that is both visionary and executable.

When assessments are used as stepping stones, they lead to strategic plans that reflect the realities of the service area and the organization's aspirations. This alignment is what drives meaningful, lasting growth. We will explore this strategic planning process and discuss successful planning processes your organization can implement to succeed for the foreseeable future.

Speakers:

  • Mike Edwin, Senior Consultant - Senior Market, Hoffman Planning, Design, & Construction
  • Julie Heiberger, Senior Living Market Leader, Hoffman Planning, Design, & Construction

Objectives:

  • Translate data insights into practical decisions
  • Build an action-orientated planning framework
  • Avoid common pitfalls
