Synergy Co-Chair Opportunity

This leadership role is an opportunity to help shape one of our most collaborative and clinically focused member groups. Individuals with a clinical background are encouraged to express interest.

LeadingAge Wisconsin is seeking a new co-chair for Synergy. We sincerely thank Missy Pohlmann for serving as one of our latest Co-chairs and congratulate her on her new role at North Shore!

The ideal co-chair will have a clinical background (DONs or similar) to accompany our other Synergy Co-chair, Jen Brieske, Administrator at Morrow Home. Co-chairs are expected to attend all of our Synergy meetings (3x per year) and meet with the LAWI team 3x per year to discuss current hot topics in SNFs (i.e. common challenges and innovative solutions) so we can design valuable and informative meetings for our Synergy members.

This is a great opportunity to get more involved in LeadingAge WI and represent your peers! Those who are interested should contact Marissa Janke and Taylor Raether.

About Synergy
Synergy brings together clinical professionals working in skilled nursing facilities who are committed to strengthening regulatory compliance, survey readiness, and quality outcomes. Developed by LeadingAge Wisconsin as a comprehensive, system-wide support program for SNF clinicians, Synergy operates on the principle that “if you share a little, you gain a lot.”

Members collaborate on best practices for meeting CMS and state regulatory expectations, implementing and sustaining clinical policies, and improving operational processes across the skilled nursing environment.

The group provides structured opportunities for peer networking, case study discussions, and quarterly in-person meetings that feature informational updates, shared problem-solving, and practical tools to support clinical excellence. Participants also gain access to a resource library of policies, procedures, and best practice tools, along with a system that encourages member-to-member guidance and real-time consultation.

Synergy serves as a trusted forum for SNF clinicians and administrators striving for excellence, offering support, shared learning, and collaborative solutions that help elevate the quality of care across Wisconsin’s skilled nursing landscape.

Members interested in getting involved, whether through committee service or leadership in Synergy, are encouraged to reach out and learn more.
