New Five Star Reports are now available for nursing home members in the LeadingAge Report Portal, based on the April 29 update to Nursing Home Care Compare data. The reports reflect changes across all three domains — Health Inspections, Staffing, and Quality Measures — as well as overall Five Star ratings.
Notably, cut points for the long-stay antipsychotics quality measure were adjusted this quarter to correct an error from the January 2026 quarterly refresh. CMS noted the correction did not significantly impact scores or quality measure ratings, but that scoring cut points will be reset using data from 2024 Q4 through 2025 Q3.
LeadingAge members can access their reports through the LeadingAge Report Portal. The next quarterly Five Star Quality Rating System refresh is scheduled for July 29.
