Deffet Group, Inc. is pleased to have been retained by LeadingAge Wisconsin to conduct an executive search for its President & CEO.
The President & CEO is directly accountable to the Board of Directors and is responsible for providing strategic leadership consistent with the mission, vision, and values of Leading Age Wisconsin. (S)he serves as chief liaison between Leading Age Wisconsin and its affiliates, the local community, and governmental agencies while providing leadership and assistance to the Board of Directors and its committees in accomplishing the organization’s long- and short-range goals. (S)he will ensure the continued stability and growth of the organization while leading and supporting the development of innovative programs, services, and new initiatives, taking an active role in public policy and staff and board development. Previous experience in regulatory guidelines, clinical or Medicaid reimbursement is highly desirable.
The successful candidate for this position will have a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a Master’s preferred, as well as 7-10 years of senior level experience and 5-10 years of senior living/service profession experience. (S)he will be a strong communicator with developed industry knowledge and public advocacy experience who can lead an experienced team. Skilled in strategic thinking and leadership, the finalist will build consensus both inside and outside of the organization in a transparent and ethical manner.
