Congress has for years worked toward bipartisan, meaningful reforms to improve Medicare Advantage (MA) prior authorization (PA). Now, the Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act has widespread, bipartisan support in both the Senate and House. The bill would modernize and streamline PA while improving transparency and accountability for MA plans—helping reduce unnecessary administrative burden on providers and supporting more timely access to care for older adults.
We cannot let another Congress come to a close without getting these important reforms across the finish line.
Urge your members of Congress to pass the Improving Seniors’ Timely Access to Care Act and to ask leadership in both chambers to bring the legislation up for a vote before the end of 2026.
